Australia's Public Information (P.I.) Calendar was developed in Australia for groups and members, offering a systematic way of accomplishing vital public information work in service. Because it is always the groups and members of each home group who are responsible for undertaking public outreach work, the ideas and materials the calendar's suggestions propose are very thoroughly considered and collated. Also, traditionally, a Public Information Inventory is recommended for all groups to undertake during the month of May. Working with that time frame, information gathering can occur through the service structure: from Group to District to Area, and then can finally be shared by an Area Public Information Coodinator Area's next Area Assembly (which are often, not always, held in June).
The calendar displays well on a meeting table upon its W stand and plastic comb for turning each page easily. Focusing on a different facility or organisation each month, it includes supporting materials including suggested literature items, per month, for groups to purchase in advance during the approach to each month.
Twelve two-sided display pages. Three inserts. Envelope. Recommended: one per group Australia-wide.
