The Alateen community and 12 Steps help teens to heal.
A professional journalist attended an Open Meeting of Alateen members, making careful notes to be able to reveal, anonymously, some of Alateen's benefits for teens affected by parental alcoholism. All attending obtained those benefits just by finding “the correct medicine” for the particular symptoms, and by attending the rooms (noting that, teens nowadays can also link into very carefully and safely facilitated online choices.)
